I’ve been working from home for over a year now and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
There are so many benefits to working from home, including being able to live wherever you want, travel, set your own schedule, not have to answer to a boss, not having to put your kids in full-time daycare, and more.

There are lots of legitimate work-at-home jobs out there. Whether you want to find something that gives you a bit of extra cash each month, or you’re looking to replace your full-time income… there are so many options.
Keep reading because I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite work-at-home opportunities that pay up to 100k/year (what is a six figure salary?)
1. Teach English Online
Teaching English online is an excellent work-from-home job. It’s fun, flexible, and the pay is great!
There are a couple of different options if you’d like to teach English online:
If you have a Bachelor’s degree:
If you have a Bachelor’s degree in any field, then VIPKID is a company that hires online English teachers and pays up to $22/hr.Forbes recently ranked VIPKID as number 1 on “The Top 100 Work From Home Companies for 2017.”
There are VIPKID teachers who are making 75k/year and there are teachers who are working just a few hours a week and bringing in some extra spending money – the choice is yours.

- Bachelor’s degree
- You must have some informal or formal teaching experience. This could include things like classroom teaching, tutoring, mentoring, education assistant, etc.

Another great company that hires native English speakers to teach English online is MagicEars.
MagicEars does not require their teachers to hold a Bachelor’s degree, and they pay teachers up to $26/hr.

2. Facebook Ads Side Hustle
Since Facebook has changed their algorithm to show less business content and more content from your family and friends, it’s because incredibly important for small business owners to start running paid Facebook ads.
This is something that most business owners don’t have the time, desire, or skills to do.

If you love finding a bargain, then flipping is a great opportunity to make money from home. “Flipping” basically means that you buy items that are priced cheap because nobody sees any value in them, then you “flip” them for a profit.

Bookkeeping is something that every business owner needs to do, but the majority of them either don’t know how, don’t have time or just don’t want to be doing their books. Which also makes this a recession proof job.
As a bookkeeper, you can start your own business working for yourself and making up to $80/hr. One of the great benefits of this job is that it’s something that every business owner needs – if you’re earning money, you need to be keeping proper records.

8. Virtual Assistant
As someone who runs a business online, I know how popular the virtual assistant field is and how in-demand high-quality virtual assistants are.
As a virtual assistant, your job tasks can be incredibly varied – everything from email management, creating graphics, managing Facebook groups, editing blog posts, managing affiliate payments… the list goes on.
This field is great to work in because you can set your own schedule, choose to niche down to a specific type of business or service, set your rate of pay and if you’re a great VA, you’ll start to get plenty of referrals.

9. Freelance Writer
Freelance writing was one of my first forays into making money online. I was super excited when I got my first check for an article I wrote while I was waiting for my plane to board at San Antonio airport – it felt so good that I made money when I’d usually have just been sitting there bored.
If you enjoy writing, then freelance writing can be a fun and lucrative work-from-home opportunity.
It can be somewhat difficult to break into this industry if you’ve never worked as a freelance writer before, and if you don’t have any connections.

10. Web Designer/Developer
Every business needs a website, and that means that they need a web designer/developer.
If you’re creative, have an eye for detail, and enjoy working on the computer, then you might enjoy working as a web designer or web developer.
