Now, there’s a difference between affiliate marketing and network marketing.
Let’s say you refer a book. People will only buy it once—not every month. On the other hand, most network marketing companies offer products or services people have to continue to pay to enjoy. Which means you get reoccurring commissions.
And the best part?
You don’t have to manufacture or ship the product. And you don’t have to deal with accounting, hiring, and firing people. You partner with a network marketing company and they take care of all of it for you.
Plus…you can introduce other humans that want to make money and build a strong sales team.
Pro Tip: If you’re already inside a network marketing company, double down on your efforts. If you’re curious about joining one, identify one that has an amazing product line that you can get behind.

#2. Become a Freelancer
There are so many ways in which you can monetize your time and expertise. Head over to platforms like Fiverr.com, 99Designs, Upwork.com, HireMyMom, Guru.com, etc., create an account, and start bidding on projects that require your skillset.
You’ll be surprised how many online jobs are out there, and what tasks clients will pay you to do. Whether you’re good at graphics, social media, virtual assisting, bookkeeping, translating, or writing—you’ll find plenty of work on these platforms.
#3. Find Local Offline Jobs
There will always be a high demand for offline jobs such as Uber drivers or grocery delivery people because we need amazing people to do them.
What’s something you love to do that you could help others with? Whether it’s babysitting, housekeeping, tutoring, dog walking, private fitness training, or gardening, there’s someone out there who needs your services.
Pro Tip: Get the word out to your community. Do a Social Media post and let people know you’re offering your expertise.
#4. Leverage Affiliate Marketing
That’s what we did when we first started building a personal brand on social media and building influence. There were books, tools, courses, and programs we were using and believed in. So we would refer them and get paid commissions.
Affiliate marketing can be very lucrative for micro and macro-influencers since most of us have things we recommend anyway—so why not get paid for it? However, if you’re just getting started with building your brand and influence online, we would recommend you leverage the other tips to generate more money quicker!

When was the last time you truly cleaned out your house?
According to Psychology Today, people tend to feel anxious, helpless and overwhelmed when they surround themselves with more things than they can manage.
Reselling stuff you don’t use anymore is a great money-making activity for the whole family. Do you have kids at home right now? Help them go over some of the old sports equipment or toys they’re not using anymore.
There are different apps on the market, such as OfferUp, Mercari, Poshmark where you can sell anything from cars, furniture, electronics, clothes, and accessories—and make some extra cash.
Our teenage son, Dylan, made a little over $1,700 in 2 weeks by selling his gaming PC, old baseball gear, and some other somewhat valuable items on OfferUp, Mercari, and SidelineSwap. We guided him to success by helping him take sharp photos (good lighting is important!), created a really good description, and highlighted the value of the items (we still had the Amazon receipts). How cool is that?
