Why is Albert not letting me log in? ›

Invalid credentials

Your institution is not recognizing either your username or password as correct. First, please verify that your credentials are working properly by logging in directly to your institution online. If your credentials are working properly, try re-entering them in the Albert app.

Albert is a legitimate app. Albert Cash and Albert Savings accounts are held at FDIC-insured banks, including Sutton Bank, Coastal Community Bank, Axos Bank, and Wells Fargo, N.A. It also has SIPC insurance to cover the investing side of things, and it's one of the more popular cash advance apps out there.

Albert may suspend or close your Albert Genius account if you fail to pay the applicable Fee Payment on time. If you have selected to pay the Albert Genius Fee Payment annually, Albert may adjust your Fee Payment to monthly if Albert's attempt to charge you your Fee Payment is unsuccessful.

We don't check your credit to determine eligibility, so your score won't be affected.

If you believe that your account has been compromised and susceptible to unauthorized access or use (e.g., in the event of a loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure or use of your account ID or password), then you must notify us at hello@albert.io.

Pending deposits take up to 2 business days to settle before they can be withdrawn. You must wait 5 business days to withdraw any cash recently deposited into your Investing account. This holding period is for anti-money laundering and risk management purposes.

If your repayment is more than 15 days late, access to Instant may be suspended for 30 days or more from the day your repayment completes. If your repayment is more than 30 days late, access to Instant may be suspended for 90 days or more from the day your repayment completes.

Brigit is another money-borrowing app that lets you borrow up to $250 without undergoing a hard credit check. You also won't pay interest or hidden fees on the amount you borrow. Dave's maximum advance amount is twice the amount of what Albert's overdraft spotting can offer. But Albert's protection lets you cover small unexpected expenses instantly.

You can open an account with a 30 day trial. There's a Genius maintenance fee that costs $12.49/month billed yearly or $14.99/month billed monthly and renews until your account is deactivated or closed. You'll be charged for the maintenance fee 30 days after signing up.

Go to the "Profile" tab (👤). Tap "Linked accounts." Tap the institution you'd like to delete. Under "Actions," tap "Delete."
