Today in this post I will tell you how to viral YouTube Shorts in India 2022. Recently I record a video and uploaded it to My YouTube Channel to know how YouTube Shorts works. I was stunned. This is a golden opportunity for all of us to boost our YouTube Channel through YouTube Shorts.
If you are thinking that after making 2-3 YouTube Shorts videos you will be popular or your video will be viral, then you are absolutely wrong. Every social media platform including YouTube has its own algorithm. And you have to work and upload content according to their algorithm.

What is YouTube Shorts?
YouTube Shorts is a new feature on YouTube. By using this feature anyone can create a YouTube Short Video from their Smartphone. You can create a video which length is less than 60 seconds will be a shorts video. Either you can record a Short Video from YouTube Shorts Tab or from your default camera. I personally feel if you create a YouTube Short Video through your Smartphone camera and edit it through editing apps then you will get much more watch time than a non edited raw video.
Previously when YouTube Shorts was launched for the first time it was available for only a few users YouTube App. But now almost every user can make a short video within a minute or two. It’s better to create a Shorts video in vertical length (9:16) than horizontal length (16:9).
How To Create a Shorts Video?
You can create a YT Shorts Video easily from your smartphone camera. First of all, open your Smartphone camera and set it to a 9:16 ratio. Then record a video that you want to upload and then edit it. Please remember any video whose duration is less than 60sec will be called a YouTube Shorts Video. It’s better to create a Shorts video of length 15 sec as per my experience. But if think you make 59 sec or 30-sec videos too. Remember if you edit the video, you will get more views.
There are various android apps like KineMaster, Inshot, VN, PowerDirector etc which you can use to edit your videos.
How To Upload a YouTube Shorts Video Properly?
I feel to make a YouTube Video viral whether it’s a long video or shorts, you have to upload it properly. It means if you don’t use the right method then probably your video won’t get much attention. Follow the below steps and upload YT Shorts Video properly.
- Open YouTube App.
- Tap on the + icon.
- Create a Short.
- Now either you can record a video from here or direct upload a recorded video from the gallery.
- Tap on upload option >> Next.
- Create a Title >> Add description related to Shorts video.
- Now open YT Studio >> Add Video Thumbnail, Tags (related to video).
- At the end add #shorts in the Title, Tag and Description section of the YT Shorts Video which length is less than 60 seconds.

There are various Android and iOS Applications available which you can use to make your YT Videos or YT Shorts Thumbnail. Canva is a great tool to make Thumbnail on a PC or Laptop. And if you are using an Android Smartphone then PicsArt or PixelLab will be the best option for you. I personally use PixelLab to make Thumbnails.

How To Viral YouTube Shorts?
If we want to viral YouTube Shorts quickly then we have to follow the process consistently. There is no rocket science in digital marketing. For someone, it takes one day to viral and for another one, it takes 1 year to viral. Always remember the process is ]more important than the result.
Every digital marketer says social media platform always push their new features. So that users can use it more in their daily life. As of now, YouTube is pushing YouTube Shorts.
If your channel is in the tech category then don’t upload Shorts other than technology. For example, if you upload a Shorts video on dancing, cooking and your channel is related to tech. Then your channel will be in danger. Because subscribers who came to your channel from Shorts will not watch your videos or go back instantly after opening.
