If say, all you want to do is speedrun 51-60? If I am not mistaken it's also capped to some degree right? So the maximum effective aetherpool would be...I forgot. Someone help me out
    here :)

I can still get increases till 70+ on some floors, but I'm not sure what the exact formula is.

IIRC the synch maxes at the floor number + 11

So you can stop building at 71 if all you are doing is 51-60 but it's not hard to cap it, especially if you're running the full 51-100

I personally ran 51-100 when I was grinding RDM, it's slightly less monotonous

it's possible you can continue using it in the next deep dungeon

if you wanna go to floor 200

Having 99/99 is basically required if you want to solo Deeper Dungeon (101+), and most of the time groups would want you to have 99/99 in Deeper Dungeon premades anyway.

Other than that, there's no real need for it other than to make runs in 90-100 faster.

Remembering the EPICNESS one GameFAQs post at a time.

    Floor Level + 4.

So 64/64 for grinding Floors 51-60 is all that's needed.

To add to that. Here's an example.

On Floor 54. At 58/58 Aetherpool, see how they're both white and not synced?

I upgraded Armor on next chest, now it's 58/59, see how the Armor is yellow showing it's synced?

So Floor Level + 4 is what the max Aetherpool is for the floor.

--Someone in my fc got 84ish off a silver chest on floor 3 or so when we were running a first timer through. Some kind of diminishing odds math at play that seems to not have a hard cap.

--This is my impression. Only bother for 101+.

Thus must we struggle. Clinging to those we pray we can yet save. But what of those we cannot? How do we make peace with the dreadful algebra of necessity?

Why are there only two save slots? SE knows we play all jobs on one char. I've had to delete saves for several jobs

    OmegaXtreme 6 years ago#10

Yes, 99 aetherpool lets you kill mobs faster hence making the grind faster. You have to do floor 100 a couple of times in order to get 99. It's worth it if you're going to level a few jobs to level 60.

One brings shadow. One brings light.
