What to bring

The lead-up to your holiday is always exciting and we don't want you to forget anything, so here's a little checklist:

  • Washing-up bits; cloth/sponge, washing-up liquid

  • Tea towels, kitchen roll, kitchen foil to wrap and store food

  • Tea bags/coffee, squash, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, oil - these are all available in our on-site Mini Market

  • Towels, toiletries and other personal holiday belongings

  • Some of the wash blocks on our parks have hairdryers and shaving points

  • Water containers if you are on a pitch without a water connection

  • A sterilised water can; useful for filling up as we don’t have motorhome points

  • Torch to help find your pitch

  • Spare pegs and mallet if you are camping or have an awning

  • Cables and splashproof UK campsite safety plugs (not standard three-pin household version) if you are staying on a pitch with electric hook-up

Don’t worry, if you forget any of the essentials you can always pop into our supermarket and stock up. We also have a range of hire goods available if you can’t squeeze everything into your vehicle including travel cots, towels and high-chairs.

Getting ready for your arrival

  • Please look out for emails from us which will include details of the check-in process you need to follow before you arrive

  • It's really important we have the best email and mobile number for you to make sure we can keep you updated about your arrival. You can always update your details by visiting My Account

  • To get everything ready for your arrival, the My Haven Experience App* will ask you to confirm how you are getting to the park and to add your car registration if you are driving. This speeds up the arrival process and helps you to start your break sooner

  • Your arrival slot will be available on the My Haven Experience App* 7 days before your arrival date and your exact location on park will be available one day before

  1. Before you start your journey, use the My Haven Experience app* or log into haven.com/experience to view and save a copy of the park map to navigate to the touring reception.

  2. Plan to arrive on park for your allocated arrival time. Please don’t arrive early as we won’t be able to check you in.

  3. Head to the touring reception where a Haven team member will direct you to your pitch.

Check out

On the day of departure we ask that all our guests leave their touring pitches by 10am. We want guests to be able to make the most of their time away with us and you are welcome to use the park facilities on your departure day for any bookings such as activities, swimming and restaurants. However, the last activity or table booking you should make is for 4pm.

What we welcome on our touring areas

Here's a reminder of some of the things we can accommodate on our parks.

Can I bring a commercial vehicle?

Commercial vehicles are allowed at all parks except from Perran Sands, Greenacres, Hafan y Môr, Presthaven, Kiln Park, Blue Dolphin and Thornwick Bay.

Can I bring a continental tourer?

Continental tourers are allowed at all parks except from Cleethorpes Beach, Littlesea, Lakeland and Reighton Sands.

Can I bring a gazebo or event shelter?

We are only able to allow gazebos and event shelters at Seaview. These must fit within the pitch size you have booked.

Please note: If you're staying at Seaview, you must take down your gazebo/event shelter at night.

Can I sleep under the awning?

If you're staying at Cleethorpes Beach, Littlesea, Reighton Sands or Seaview you'll be able to sleep under your awning. Unfortunately you won't be able to do this at any of our other parks.

Can I bring a fire pit?

As guests aren't allowed to light ground fires on park, fire pits are not permitted at any of our holiday parks.

Can I bring a pup tent?

If you're staying at Cleethorpes Beach, Littlesea or Seaview then you will be able to bring a pup tent with you. Unfortunately the rest of our parks are unable to accept pup tents. The pup tent must fit within your pitch area.

Can I bring a generator?

Unfortunately, we're unable to allow guests to bring their own generators.

Barbecues

  • Charcoal barbecues in a fireproof container are acceptable to use, but must be used adjacent to your holiday home and not directly on the ground or decking

  • Brick built barbecues are not permitted

  • For your safety and that of others around you, no fires are to be lit on the park

RNLI water safety

At Haven, we're proud to be partnered with the RNLI. Many of the 238 lifeboat stations around the UK are right next to our parks, meaning their crews are on standby should any of our guests ever find themselves struggling out at sea. Please take a look at how to keep safe on the beach and in the water.

Health and safety

We have outlined advice and information to keep you safe and secure during your stay. Please take a moment to read our health and safety guide.
