All of our Versailles tours start to your hotel or apartment in Paris. If you wish to start at another location, it is possible if you ask us before booking. An extra may apply if you wish to start the tour outside Paris.(at the airport for example)

Yes, hopefully we do! We are all fluent in English AND French. All our guides are graduated, licensed and authorized to speak in any Museums in Paris. (Because anyone is not authorized to offer guided tours in Paris: a special diploma is required… which make our guides more knowledgeable…).

Yes, due to the purposefully small size of all of our groups, reservations are required for all of our tours and activities. Moreover we must book in advance to make sure to have tickets with a direct entrance to the Palace. The Palace may be full booked 6 weeks in advance between April to October. Moreover our guides can be booked one or even sometimes 2 months in advance. that’s why, we always advice you to book as soon as you know that you wish to visit Versailles with us.

Please also note that our meeting times are absolute and that if you are late and miss the Meeting Time on your reservation we might not be able to enter in the Palace of Versailles with a direct access. (which means that you may need to queue for hours and pay extra tickets to get inside – which involves also extra cost)

Each reservations done to the Palace by ourselves is for an exact date and hour. It is not possible to make another way.

Thousands of visitors are coming to Versailles every days and the administration of the Palace can’t accept visitors who are late.
That is why it is very important that you arrive on time if you intend to take our tours! Please plan your travel to our meeting points the day before your tour. If you arrive late and can not enter in the palace, we will not be able to reimburse you.

We always do our best to create opportunities for everyone to take our tours. If you have your own wheelchair or other mobility aids, please let us know in advance so we can make any necessary arrangements. At times, we might need to use a bigger vehicle to transport the wheelchair, which might accrue an extra cost. However, we will aim to avoid this when possible and you will be informed in advance if we need to make some adaptations.

The Palace of Versailles & Gardens:

The Palace is wheelchair accessible. The Gardens are covered with small stones and navigating a wheelchair on this surface can be difficult. If you have reduced mobility or require a wheelchair, it’s advisable to book a golf cart (at an extra cost) for your own comfort. This can only be booked on site (we cannot do it in advance). Your tour guide will be happy to assist you.

Giverny:

The garden is wheelchair accessible. To enter Monet’s House you will have to walk up some stairs. The house has an upper floor which can be accessed by stairs only.

Vaux le Vicomte:

At present, only the ground floor is wheelchair accessible inside the Chateau. However, you need to be aware that there are 30 steps to climb in order to reach this. The Gardens are covered by stones and it can be difficult to navigate a wheelchair. Small electric vehicles are available to rent (at an extra cost) to explore the gardens, if required.

The Louvre:

The building has dedicated entrances for people using a wheelchair. Please let us know in advance of your request, so the tour guide can meet you at the correct place.

We understand that unexpected events can change your travel plans; In the same time, in order to get the best tickets with a direct entrance in the Palace of Versailles, we must book your tickets in advance. According to the terms and conditions between the professional touristic Agency and the Palace of Versailles, no refunds (of the tickets) are given.

Up to 4 weeks: 25 % of the price of the tour is non refundable.
28 to 10 days: 50 % of the price of the tour is non refundable.
9 to 1 day: 100 % of the price of the tour is non refundable.
No-show: 100 % of the price of the tour is non refundable.
