Will resetting my console delete everything?

Running a power cycle that restarts an Xbox One will also reset the software, usually clearing out any glitches that were affecting game play. Shutting the system down is also a good idea at the end of any gaming session even if the system is running error free, as it saves power and allows the console to rest.
A factory reset does not do anything to the profile account as this is stored with Microsoft/Xbox.

When you uninstall a game on Xbox do you lose everything?
It deletes all data stored in the game on your Xbox One, the data will be saved in the cloud ready to reinstall with the game. As far as I know all your save datas are stored in the cloud, so it will be ready when you reinstall any of your games.
