Is Oregon getting another stimulus check?
“All direct deposits will be made and checks will be mailed by July 1, 2022,” the Department of Revenue said in a statement describing the payments. In passing House Bill 4157, Oregon lawmakers mandated the money be paid out by the end of July 2022.

More than 136,000 Oregon taxpayers will see $600 deposited in their bank accounts before July 1, while more than 99,000 more will find paper checks in their mailboxes over the next week. They'll also receive letters explaining the payment.
Low-income households in Oregon will soon be getting $600 stimulus payments if they met the eligibility requirements.
Taxpayers with incomes at $75,000 or above will receive a phased benefit with a maximum payment of $250. Households will get an additional amount up to $250 if they have qualifying dependents. Californians can expect to receive payments between October 2022 and January 2023 via direct deposit and debit cards.
To qualify for the credit, taxpayers have to fit within certain income limits. For instance, a family with two children would have to earn no more than $53,865 annually, according to the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries.

The previous income limit for these programs was 185% of the federal poverty level, or $1,986 a month for an individual or $3,386 for a family of three. This change took effect in Oregon on Jan. 1, 2022, and approximately 18,000 new households are expected to be eligible to enroll in SNAP.

The legislation will give single adults who reported adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less on their 2019 tax returns a one-time check for $1,200. Married couples who filed jointly will receive $2,400. Families will get an additional $500 for each child under 17.

Millions more Californians will get $600 to $1,100 payments from the state in the next couple weeks. Through its Golden State Stimulus, the state has already sent more than $1.8 billion to eligible taxpayers in the last few weeks, according to the Franchise Tax Board.
