SPECIFICATION FOR CHAIN LINK FENCING :
The Indian Standard Specification for Chain Link Fencing: IS – 2721. The Chain Link Mesh should confirm to IS:2721. Basically, it standardizes the Dimensional, Physical & Chemical features of the chain-link fences, which include:

- Size Of The Mesh
- Type And Thickness Of Zinc Coating
- Type Of Twisting Done To Manufacture ( Twisted Or Knuckled )
- Length & Height of Mesh .

GALVANIZED CHAIN LINK FENCING :
GI Chain Link Fencing or GI Chain Link Wire Mesh , in both cases , the base Mesh Wire is treated with a layer over the steel base. And the procedure of coating is usually done in 2 ways: –
Hot Dipped GI Chain Link Fabric Fencing
Electro-Plated GI Chain Link Wire Mesh
In the former method, the steel is dipped in a bath of the coating material, which in this case is Zinc. However, in the electro galvanization process, the coating is done with the help of electroplating ( Cathode + Anode )
