Does EarlyBird check-in automatically check you in? ›

Don't want to worry about check-in? We can do it for you, when EarlyBird Check-In is available! If you purchase EarlyBird Check-In, we'll automatically check you in and reserve your boarding position 36 hours before you flight's departure. This is before our general 24-hour check-in begins.

EarlyBird Check-In guarantees that you will be one of the first passengers to board the plane — for a fee. The cost ranges from $15 to $25 per person, per flight. If you have a round-trip ticket and want this add-on both ways, you need to buy it for each leg.

Pay for Early Bird check-in

This perk gives you the benefit of automatic check-in for the purpose of a better seating group and position, and you can pay for it up to 36 hours before departure for Wanna Get Away or Wanna Get Away Plus fares.

As an EarlyBird Check-In Customer, you'll have the benefit of an earlier boarding position, a better opportunity to select your preferred available seat, and earlier access to overhead bin storage for your carryon luggage.

If you've bought EarlyBird Check-In, you are automatically checked in at 36 hours prior to departure. Beginning at 24 hours prior to departure you can use the online check-in to see your position and print your boarding pass.

If the new flight departs in less than 25 hours, then you will lose your non-refundable EarlyBird Check-In purchase. Additionally, if the change to your reservation involves a new city pair(s), you will need to contact us to have the EarlyBird Check-In transferred.

Assuming both connecting flights are booked on the same reservation, yes you will be checked in for both flights when you check in (automatically with Early Bird, otherwise manually by you). You will have different boarding positions for each flight.

Upgraded Boarding is similar to a souped-up version of EarlyBird Check-In. Positions A1 and A15 are reserved for those who buy Upgraded Boarding (and anyone who purchases a Business Select seat, as we'll talk about in a minute). That means you are one of the first to sit down.

Re: Check in for second leg ? If your flight is all under one reservation you will receive a boarding pass for your departure flight and a boarding pass for your connecting flight(s) when you check in. If they are under separate reservations, then you need to check in for each flight you have a reservation number for.

If you have a B group boarding position, the chances are good that you'll still be able to get a window or aisle seat or find 2 seats together if you're traveling with a companion. Hot Tip: If you are in the B group (or even one of the first numbers in the C group), head to the back of the plane.

Basically, an early bird deal or offer is an exclusive offer which is only available to those who register for an event or order a product during a certain timeline. Early bird specials are typically available very early in the booking process and most discounts are between 10-25% off standard pricing.

EarlyBird Check-In provides automatic check-in before the traditional 24-hour check-in and can be purchased as part of the original flight purchase or added to a flight after purchase. Price of EarlyBird Check-In may vary.

Automatic Check-in can be accepted once your reservation and ticket are confirmed until 24 hours prior to the departure flight, and passenger information must be registered. Online boarding pass will be delivered via email 24 hours prior to the departure flight.
