Venti was the first featured 5-star unit in Genshin Impact, and arguably the most powerful Genshin Impact character at the time. His kit revolves around the top-tier crowd control that he provides, sucking small enemies into an eight-second-long wind vortex. With the release of newer and “heavier” enemies, Venti has lost a lot of his viability.

But worry not, even after everything, the Anemo Archon is still a powerful unit overall. If players plan to get Venti on his re-run, then it’s a good idea to prepare one of the best weapons for Venti in Genshin Impact.

Updated on September 28, 2022, by Nahda Nabiilah: The most recent release of a new region, Sumeru, adds to the list of major updates in the game. For the next few versions, players will be experiencing a five-weeks maintenance cycle, instead of the initial six-weeks cycle.

Genshin Impact keeps growing and adding more weapons since its release back in 2020. For that, most characters will always have new weapons that add to their kit. As for the Anemo Archon, the best Bows for Venti in Genshin Impact are still the same. But since players would also have a growing list of owned equipment, here are some of the best weapons for Venti.

11 Windblume Ode

• Primary stat: 510 attack
• Secondary stat: 165 Elemental Mastery
• R5 Effect: After using an Elemental Skill, Attack increases by 32% for 6 seconds.

Windblume Ode is a free bow in Genshin Impact, obtainable from the Windblume Festival in version 1.4. Unfortunately, there’s currently no alternative method to get one after the event. However, if players participated in the Festival and own this weapon, then they should know that Windblume Ode is a viable option for Venti in Genshin Impact. At maximum refinement, this bow can outperform R1 Stringless and Sacrificial Bow. However, if those two are refined, then Windblume Ode falls behind.

10 Viridescent Hunt

• Primary stat: 510 attack
• Secondary stat: 27.6% Crit Rate
• Effect: Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40% of attack as damage to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14s.

Viridescent Hunt is a good weapon for Crit-focused build, but not so much for the Elemental Mastery route. This Bow can perform better than some others when compared at refinement rank 1, but, at a higher refinement, Viridescent Hunt falls short for Venti as the Anemo Archon can't properly benefit from its passive.

9 The Stringless

• Primary stat: 510 attack
• Secondary stat: 165 Elemental Mastery
• Effect: Increases the user's Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst Damage by 24% each.

The Stringless' passive is perfect for Venti in Genshin Impact, and its sub-stat is even better. This weapon is great for both Swirl and DPS Venti, because The Stringless’ stats cater to both sides of the build. The damage enhancement can get even higher — up to 48% if Travelers gain five of the gear. This bow is obtainable via the standard and weapon banner, so with a little luck, getting five of them shouldn’t be too hard.

8 Sacrificial Bow

• Primary stat: 565 attack
• Secondary stat: 30.6% Energy Recharge
• Effect: After the user damages an opponent with an Elemental Skill, that skill has a 40% chance to end its own cooldown. This can only occur once every 30 seconds.

When it comes to The Stringless and Sacrificial Bow, the sole difference is the Energy Recharge sub-stat. If players can maintain Venti’s Elemental Burst with Stringless, then it’s a better option than Sacrificial Bow. Otherwise, the Sacrificial Bow is the more stable option for Venti in Genshin Impact.

7 Mouun's Moon

• Primary stat: 565 attack
• Secondary stat: 27.6% attack
• Effect: For every point of the entire party's combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst Damage of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.12%. Max 40%.

Mouun's Moon is a good option for Venti if his team consists of Energy-hungry units like Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko. The more maximum Energy count the team has, the better that Mouun's Moon will perform, and vice versa. If the party has a low Energy count —for example, if two of the teammates only have a 40-Energy ultimate — then the Mouun's Moon buff will drop greatly.

6 Alley Hunter

• Primary stat: 565 attack
• Secondary stat: 27.6% attack
• Effect: While the equipping character is off-field, this weapon will increase their damage by 2% every second, stacking for a total boost of up to a max of 20%. If the character is on the field for more than 4 seconds, the buff decreases by 4% per second, until it reaches 0%.

This Genshin Impact bow is only obtainable from the weapon banner, so it can be hard to get one if it isn’t featured. But when players do get one, then they’ll know that Alley Hunter is an amazing option for off-field damage dealers, like Venti.

5 Amos' Bow

• Primary stat: 608 attack
• Secondary stat: 49.6% attack
• Effect: +12% damage to both Normal Attack and Charged Attack. After a Normal or Charged Attack is fired, damage dealt increases by a further 8% every 0.1 seconds the arrow is in the air. This effect stacks up to 5 times.

Amos’ Bow passive is far from the best bow for Venti. However, as it’s a 5-star weapon that offers large enhancement to his attack, Amos’ Bow is still a decent option for the Anemo Archon.

4 Thundering Pulse

• Primary Stat: 608 ATK
• Secondary Stat: 66.2% CRIT DMG
• Effect: Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%. The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack's duration is calculated independently.

Thundering Pulse is merely a stat-stick for Venti in Genshin Impact. This Bow is generally great for everyone since it offers a high base ATK and secondary stat. Venti will also benefit from the ATK boost it provides, although the stat isn't very important on an Elemental Mastery build.

3 Polar Star

• Primary stat: 608 attack
• Secondary stat: 33.1% Crit Rate
• Effect: +12% to Elemental Skill and Burst Damage. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, the player gains one stack of the weapon's buff for 12 seconds. When 1/2/3/4 stacks are present, attack is increased by 10/20/30/48%.

This bow is designed for Childe in Genshin Impact, but thanks to its Critical Rate sub-stat and fitting passive, Polar Star is a great option for Venti. The Anemo Archon won’t be able to fully utilize the attack buff, as players should avoid using his Normal and Charged attack as the main source of DPS, but earning stacks via his Skill and Burst should be trivial.

2 Skyward Harp

• Primary stat: 674 attack
• Secondary stat: 22.1% Crit Rate
• Effect: +20% Crit Damage. Hits made with this bow have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical attack damage. This can only occur once every 4 seconds.

Skyward Harp is another addition to a traditional Crit build. Unlike some other Skyward weapons, this Genshin Impact bow doesn’t require Normal or Charged Attack hits to deal passive damage, so it can be a decent DPS addition when it triggers. Skyward Harp is a reliable option for Venti, for both Elemental Mastery and Crit builds.

1 Elegy For The End

• Primary stat: 608 attack
• Secondary stat: 55.1% Energy Recharge
• Effect: +60 Elemental Mastery. Elemental Skill or Burst hits grant a stack every 0.2 seconds. After gaining four stacks, the player can remove them to grant a +100 Elemental Mastery and +20% attack buff for 12 seconds. After this buff is activated, no stacks can be obtained until 20 seconds have passed.

Elegy for the End is the best bow for Venti in Genshin Impact. The Energy Recharge sub-stat may be excessive, but the passive is the perfect supportive buff for the team. Additionally, Swirl builds are highly viable, making Elemental Mastery a great stat for Venti to have.
