  • offence means any act or omission made punishable by any law for the time being in force;

  • Most serious offense means any of the following felonies

  • Drug test means a test designed to detect the illegal use of a controlled substance.

  • Eligible offender means, in relation to a particular community alternative sentencing center or district community alternative sentencing center established and operated under division (E) of this section, an offender who has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to a qualifying misdemeanor offense, for whom no provision of the Revised Code or ordinance of a municipal corporation other than section 4511.19 of the Revised Code, both section 4510.14 and 4511.19 of the Revised Code, or an ordinance or ordinances of a municipal corporation that provide the penalties for a municipal OVI offense or for both a municipal OVI ordinance and a municipal DUS ordinance of the municipal corporation requires the imposition of a mandatory jail term for that qualifying misdemeanor offense, and who is eligible to be sentenced directly to that center and admitted to it under rules adopted under division (G) of this section by the board of county commissioners or affiliated group of boards of county commissioners that established and operates that center.
