How long does it take for glasses to come in Kaiser Permanente? ›

How long will it take to get my glasses? Our average turnaround time for most prescriptions is within six business days. More complex prescriptions may take longer to manufacture as each individual's prescription is a custom order.

If you are not completely satisfied with your prescription eyeglasses, you may exchange or return them for a complete refund within 30 days from the date of original delivery. Doctor-approved prescription changes can be made at no charge within 90 days from the date of delivery.

Is there a cost to reuse my own frame? A: Yes, a fee of $25 will be applied to offset the additional handling & processing. This fee is waived if our records indicate that the frame was originally purchased from Kaiser Permanente.

Any glasses you buy from Vision Essentials come with a 30-day total satisfaction guarantee for eyewear purchases. We also offer a protection plan for $25 for one year against breakage or scratched lenses (does not cover loss).

All Frames and lenses sold are warranted by the manufacturer from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date that products are delivered. Your eyeglasses also come with a 90-day prescription guarantee, if your prescription changes shortly after you get your new prescription eyeglasses.

Can I put prescription lenses in any frames? In general, you can put prescription lenses in any frames. However, there may be times when your prescription or preferred type of lens isn't compatible.

It depends on which Walmart you go to. Some Walmart's will replace the lenses in your frames and since they want to sell their own frames they usually add $25.00 to the cost of the lenses in a customer's own frame. You will need to call your local Walmart to find out their individual policy for your location.

How soon will I get my contact lenses? Once your order is placed, it is electronically transmitted to our fulfillment center. Most contact lenses are shipped the following day.

After placing your order

After you've found your perfect frame, added your preferred lens options and your prescription is sorted, we'll get to work on making your glasses. The majority of orders are shipped within 7 days of the order date, although more complex orders will usually take within 14 days.

The estimated delivery time is approximately 7-10 business days from the time of order including manufacturing. The eyeglasses are manufactured in the U.S. by Costco's Optical Labs using the latest technology. Manufacturing cannot begin until your prescription has been provided.
