Updated May 29th by Mina Smith: Genshin Impact has grown leaps and bounds since it released last year, adding new locations, features, and even a housing system. This has brought new players to the game who may be looking for new clues to old puzzles.And This Treasure Goes To... is not an intuitive quest chain, and players may need some clues to find the locations.

To get started, players will have to go toLingju Pass in Liyue. At the indicated spot, players will find a few quest markers that will start them on this quest chain. They will be scattered around what looks like a hastily abandoned camp. While investigating these spots, the player will come across a Neatly-Written Diary which will then update the quest chain toaskplayers to find the missing scholar who wrote it.

Next Step

To the northwest, up the river, there will be two large statues. To the west of these two will be a platform with a small, wooden box. This box will glow, and players can investigate to get more clues about the location of the scholar. After investigating this new hint, players should keep heading west, up the hill. At the top of the hill, there will be a camp full of new enemy Genshin Impact Treasure Hoarders, and they are ready for a fight.

Look for the Missing Scholar in Genshin Impact

Defeatall of those treasurehoarders and a chest will drop. Inside will be a key. Use the key to open the cage with the missing scholar inside. Her name is Alrani, and she will thank the player for saving her by giving them the location of the treasure. She states that it will beunderneath the giant, golden tree, which is located in the very center of theLingju Pass. Getting that treasure will be the final step of this Liyue quest.

Rewards for Rescuing the Missing Scholar in Genshin Impact

Head towards the giant tree in the middle of the pass. at the base of the tree will be several rocks all clustered together that players can interact with. Once mined, a Luxurious Treasure chest will appear, and players will find some Genshin Impact Nameless Treasure inside. There will also be enhancement ores inside and some other loot.

Nameless Treasure

There are several quests around the map that give Nameless Treasure as a reward. Doing these quests is not only great for raising Adventure Ranks quickly, but also players will earn some great rewards for selling the Nameless Treasures too. Once players have collected Nameless Treasures, they can sell them to the antique shop in theLiyue Harbor. While players can sell them one at a time, the rewards for selling threeare significantly more than selling one at a time, three times separately.
