What is the cheapest Haven park? ›

There are exceptions of course, but we picked out 10 of the best Haven holiday parks for our guide and found that the three cheapest were Seton Sands in Scotland, Thornwick Bay in Yorkshire and ​Lakeland Leisure Park in the Lake District.

We want guests to be able to make the most of their time away with us and you are welcome to use the park facilities on your departure day for any bookings such as activities, swimming and restaurants. However, the last activity or table booking you should make is for 4pm.

Debit or credit card: the easiest way to pay for your holiday is by debit (preferred) or credit card on the Haven website or over the phone. We accept Mastercard and Visa. We do not accept American Express, Delta, Diners Club, Maestro, Visa Electron or Solo.

The best way to get good value for money at Haven Holidays is to either book last minute or book in advance! When booking last minute, you can find unbeatable prices. These last-minute deals are not that hard to find either and offer great flexibility when booking them.

The amazing TLC our terrific team undertakes while everyone else is away means that you'll return to a constantly refreshed and revitalised setting that's the best in the business. As an owner at Haven, you're able to occupy your holiday home for up to 60 consecutive days at a time.

No, you can't live on a holiday park permanently. You must have a main address as your permanent residence, which your holiday home cannot be. Strictly speaking, your holiday home should be for recreational and holiday purposes.

At Haven sites the bed linen is included as standard. Not only does having bed linen included mean one less thing to pack, but more importantly all the beds will all be made up when you arrive. Towels are only included in our Silver, Gold and Signature caravans, so we'll remind you to bring these later on.

How much is the deposit for a Haven holiday? ›

Booking early gives you the option to split the cost of your holiday into manageable chunks. You can secure your holiday from as little as a £30 deposit, and you can choose to pay off the remaining balance using our Easy Monthly payment plan. This option is not available on touring and camping. Learn more.

Renting out your static caravan

You can choose between our FIXED service that will guarantee income for every date that we agree to let your holiday home for you, and our new FLEXI letting service that gives you the chance to earn more in peak periods.

The alternative to the easy payment plan is to pay in full or to pay an initial deposit of £60 at the time of booking and then the outstanding balance which will be due 10 weeks before arrival.

Can you get a Day Pass for Haven? Haven does not offer a day pass for guests in their parks. You have the option of either a 3, 4 or 7 night pass to access the facilities.

Skegness Holiday Park

The latest addition to the Haven family, Skegness Holiday Park is preparing to welcome its first Haven guests in 2023. We're squirrelling away behind the scenes to update the park, and by Summer 2023, our plans include: A new outdoor piazza, stage, and Bark Yard.

Lydstep Beach, South Wales

Smaller than most of our parks, Lydstep is the place to be for beach afficionados that are looking for a place to kick back and relax. You'll spot the magnificent Caldey Island out at sea in the distance, which can be accessed from Tenby via a fleet of boats that run from Easter to October.

If you wish to travel to another park, it would be best to get in touch with the park you want to travel to and find out if you will be able to use the facilities on the date you wish to travel. Owners at that park and holidaymakers would take priority, in the same way you would be priority at the park you own at.

What time do you have to leave Haven? ›

Check out. On the day of departure we ask that all our guests leave their touring pitches by 10am. We want guests to be able to make the most of their time away with us and you are welcome to use the park facilities on your departure day for any bookings such as activities, swimming and restaurants.

Leave the paperwork up to us

You'll have access to your holiday home as soon as it arrives on park. We'll also organise the sale of your old caravan; it will either be sold on park or to another park at home or abroad!

There are many benefits to living in a caravan and depending on your personal situation, some may be more important that others in helping you make the decision when you pick your model: Reduced costs/more disposable income. Less maintenance and upkeep required. Access to well-kept residential caravan sites.

The Owners Card is the ticket to getting as much out of our parks as possible, with some fantastic savings to be made on a variety of experiences. You'll be able to use your card in a variety of locations within your chosen park.

Cons of living in a static caravan while building a house:

-You will be limited on space. -There may be noise and dust from the construction process. -The caravan may not be as comfortable as a regular house. -You will need to transport all your belongings to and from the caravan every day.

The minimum age to make a booking at one of our holiday parks is 18. Younger guests must be staying with a responsible adult aged 18 or above.

Wi-Fi connectivity is free to all users at all our Haven parks. Our caravan owners also benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi in our caravan owners' lounges.

The signature Haven caravans are pretty much the same as the gold caravans. The major difference is that they offer better views. However, they are actually a couple of feet narrower (about 60cm) than the gold models. You get everything else that you get on cheaper models including outside decking/veranda and two TVs.

Is all the cooking equipment included and will there be a microwave? Yes. All caravans and lodges come with pots, pans, utensils, cutlery etc. All caravans and lodges also a have fridge, oven, hob and microwave.

So, what's the difference and is it worth paying the higher price? In summary, a Haven Hideaway holiday means that you can't use the onsite facilities except for the restaurants, shop, launderette and takeaway.

Do Haven caravans have cameras? ›

These stylish spaces give guests a view of the Cornish coast that's second to none. A large open plan living room affords you room to roam about during the day and cosy up in the evening by the beach that's a stone throw away.

Unfortunately, if the balance isn't paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation email (and later reminders we send you), the booking will be cancelled automatically. It may be possible for the balance due date to be extended if there is enough time left before the start of your stay.

At Haven, we do things a little differently. While the initial licence period for the occupation of a pitch on the park is 12 years, we let you keep your static caravan on our sites for as long as you want (no more than 10 months per year as most Haven parks are only open between March and December).

Yes, you can permanently live in a static and many people choose to for a range of benefits, including: Lower price than traditional bricks and mortar. Flexibility to move and re-site. Comfort and luxury features.

Static caravans are often more affordable than buying a brick-and-mortar holiday home and are arguably more flexible. They're also a great source of additional income with minimal upkeep. But, before making the plunge, be aware of additional fees and factor these into your budget.

Paying for your holiday in instalments can help you spread the costs and also gives you the option to plan a holiday you wouldn't otherwise be able to afford. By booking in advance and choosing a trip payment plan you'll give yourself plenty of time to pay for the holiday of your dreams.

Our verdict. Haven Devon Cliffs is the largest Haven park and also offers one of its best selections of evening entertainment, onsite restaurants and family-friendly fun. There are slides in the indoor pool and a big heated pool outside.

Booking in advance and paying monthly means you'll have plenty of time to save for any spending money you'll need. We have some excellent food and drink offers available, including the chance to load money in advance and save big at our venues on park.

The beach's water quality still meets an acceptable standard for swimming.

Book a Haven package, and you'll have access to enjoy our swimming pools during your stay. For indoor swimming before 6pm you can book slots before and during your stay. Our outdoor pools are open, weather permitting, between May half term - end of August bank holiday. No booking is needed.
